Pause & Reflect
Jesus spoke about prayer as something His disciples would naturally practise: “When you pray...” Prayer is not a performance designed to impress people with spirituality. Jesus directs us toward the secret place—where there is no audience to applaud our words. There, prayer becomes relationship. You don't need eloquent language. You need honesty. Bring God your gratitude and worship. Bring your worries. Confess sin. Ask for wisdom. Intercede for people. Sit quietly before Him. Some days prayer may feel powerful. Other days it may feel ordinary. Faithfulness matters more than emotional intensity. A deep prayer life is built one conversation with God at a time. Become a woman whose first instinct increasingly becomes: “I need to take this to God.”
Declare It Today
“Prayer is not my last resort; it is part of my relationship with God. I will cultivate a life of honest, consistent prayer and bring every area of my life before Him.”
Let's Pray
Father, teach me to pray. Remove performance and distraction from my prayer life. Help me speak honestly, listen humbly and return to You throughout my day. Make prayer a natural rhythm of my relationship with You. In Jesus' name, amen.
