Pause & Reflect
God's answer to fear is repeatedly connected to His presence: “Don't be afraid, for I am with you.” Notice what He does not say: Nothing difficult will ever happen. The deeper promise is: I am with you. Fear often imagines a future where we must face everything alone. God inserts Himself into that imagined future. Whatever comes, He will still be God. Faith does not require us to become naturally fearless personalities. Courage is often obedience while fear is still talking. Take the appointment. Have the necessary conversation. Apply. Begin. Wait. Speak. Stay. Leave—when wisdom and obedience require it. And remember: you do not enter tomorrow before God gets there.
Declare It Today
“I will not allow fear to govern my decisions. God is with me, strengthens me and upholds me. I can move forward in faithful courage.”
Let's Pray
Father, You know what I am afraid of. Strengthen me where fear has become controlling. Let awareness of Your presence produce courage and wise action. Amen.
