Everything Belongs to God

Day 305

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE

Psalm 24:1–2

Read Scripture in Context →

Pause & Reflect

“The earth is Yahweh’s, with its fullness.” Biblical stewardship begins with ownership. God owns. We steward. Our money, possessions, opportunities, abilities and time ultimately exist because God gave us life and capacity to receive or produce them. That changes the question. Instead of only asking: “What do I want to do with my money?” we begin asking: “How can I honour God with what He has entrusted to me?” Stewardship does not mean we cannot enjoy God's provision. Scripture speaks positively about receiving His gifts with thanksgiving. But gratitude remembers the Giver. Hold resources responsibly. Enjoy them thankfully. Use them wisely. Give from them generously. And remember whose they ultimately are.

Declare It Today

“Everything I possess ultimately belongs to God. I will receive His provision gratefully and manage what He entrusts to me faithfully.”

Let's Pray

Father, teach me to live as a steward rather than an owner. Let gratitude, wisdom and generosity govern the way I handle Your provision. Amen.
