Pause & Reflect
Jesus says: “Behold, I come quickly.” The New Testament looks forward. History is moving somewhere. Christ will return. Christian readiness does not mean obsessively setting dates or interpreting every headline as a coded timetable. Jesus calls His people to faithful watchfulness. Love Him. Obey Him. Serve. Witness. Forgive. Persevere. Live so His return is your hope rather than a threat to a life deliberately resisting Him. The church's ancient prayer remains beautiful: “Come, Lord Jesus.”
Declare It Today
“Jesus Christ will return. I will wait for Him with faithful readiness rather than fear, speculation or spiritual complacency.”
Let's Pray
Jesus, keep me ready for Your return. Let eternal hope shape today’s obedience and keep my heart longing for You. Amen.
