Pause & Reflect
Jeremiah declared God's power while his nation faced extraordinary trouble. He looked beyond the magnitude of the circumstances to the greatness of the Creator. The God who made heaven and earth is not intimidated by the situation that intimidates you. But God's omnipotence should not become a formula that says, “Because God can do anything, He must do exactly what I request.” God is both powerful and wise. Faith recognises both. You can bring impossible-looking circumstances to Him because nothing exceeds His ability. Then you can entrust the outcome to Him because nothing exceeds His wisdom. Sometimes God changes the circumstance. Sometimes He changes us within it. Sometimes His answer arrives quickly; sometimes faithfulness means waiting. But you never pray to a powerless God.

“Nothing is too difficult for God. I will bring my impossible-looking situations to Him with faith while trusting both His power and His wisdom.”
Let's Pray
Almighty God, You created heaven and earth by Your great power. I bring before You the circumstances that feel beyond me. Work according to Your wisdom and purposes. Give me faith to trust Your ability and humility to trust Your answer. Amen.
