Trust With All Your Heart

Day 94

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE

Proverbs 3:5–6

Read Scripture in Context →

Pause & Reflect

“Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding.” We have encountered this passage before in the context of surrender. Here we focus specifically on trust. Our understanding is useful, but limited. We plan based on the information available to us. God sees what we cannot. Trust does not mean abandoning wisdom. It means refusing to make our own perspective ultimate. Sometimes God redirects plans we were convinced were right. Sometimes delay protects us. Sometimes a closed door becomes clearer only much later. And sometimes we never fully understand. Faith says: “I will acknowledge God even when His direction differs from mine.” That kind of trust requires humility.

Declare It Today

“I trust the Lord with my whole heart. I will use wisdom without making my own understanding greater than God's direction.”

Let's Pray

Lord, I surrender the need to understand everything before I trust You. Direct my paths and give me humility when Your way differs from the one I expected. Amen.
