Pause & Reflect
Moses responded to God’s call with: “Who am I?” God’s answer was not a motivational speech about Moses’ greatness. It was: “Certainly I will be with you.” Sometimes calling feels intimidating because it genuinely exceeds our natural capacity. That can be healthy. A God-sized assignment should produce dependence. Confidence in calling is not: “I am enough.” It is: “God is with me.” Develop the skills you need. Prepare. Learn. But never allow competence to replace dependence.
Declare It Today
“I do not need to be sufficient in myself for everything God asks of me. His presence is greater than my inadequacy.”
Let's Pray
Father, where calling intimidates me, turn fear into dependence. Give me courage, preparation and confidence rooted in Your presence. Amen.
