Pause & Reflect
Peter says: “As each has received a gift, employ it in serving one another.” Giftedness creates responsibility. A gift left undeveloped serves nobody. A gift used only for personal recognition misses its purpose. Whether you speak, organise, encourage, teach, create, lead, give, host or serve practically, ask how your gift can become grace to another person. And notice Peter’s goal: that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. Use the gift. But do not become the destination. Point beyond yourself.
Declare It Today
“What God has given me is meant to become service. I will use my gifts faithfully so others are strengthened and God is glorified.”
Let's Pray
Father, show me practical ways to put my gifts to work. Keep me from burying them through fear or using them mainly for self-promotion. Amen.
