Pause & Reflect
“Be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might.” Spiritual warfare begins with dependence. Not: “Be strong in yourself.” The Christian life includes genuine spiritual opposition. But we need not become fearful or obsessed with darkness. Paul directs believers toward God’s strength and God’s armour. The enemy is real. So is Christ’s authority. Spiritual warfare should therefore produce vigilance, not paranoia. Stand in truth. Righteousness. Faith. The gospel. Scripture. Prayer.
Declare It Today
“My strength is in the Lord. I refuse both spiritual carelessness and fear; I will stand faithfully in Christ.”
Let's Pray
Father, strengthen me in Your power. Give me discernment concerning spiritual opposition and keep my attention fixed upon Christ rather than fear. Amen.
