Paul’s armour is deeply practical: Truth. Righteousness. The gospel of peace. Faith. Salvation. God’s Word. Prayer. Spiritual warfare is therefore not primarily dramatic. Every lie resisted by truth is warfare. Every temptation answered through obedience. Every anxious thought brought beneath faith. Every refusal to retaliate. Every prayer prayed when giving up would be easier. Every Scripture remembered when deception comes. Put on what God provides. Then stand.
