Pause & Reflect
“Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Transformation involves learning to think differently. Every culture disciples its people. It teaches us what success means. What beauty means. What relationships should look like. What we should desire. What we should fear. If we absorb those messages without examination, the world around us will shape us more than we realise. Paul tells believers to resist passive conformity. Transformation happens as our minds are renewed according to God's truth. That requires intentionality. What are you repeatedly watching? Reading? Listening to? Whose opinions shape your self-understanding? Renewing the mind is not simply positive thinking. It is learning to see God, ourselves and the world increasingly according to truth.
Declare It Today
“My mind belongs to God. I refuse passive conformity to values that contradict His Word. Through the Holy Spirit and Scripture, my thinking is being renewed.”
Let's Pray
Holy Spirit, renew my mind. Reveal beliefs I have absorbed that contradict God's truth. Give me discernment about what I repeatedly consume and reshape my thinking according to Scripture. Amen.
