Come, See a Man

The woman left her water pot and returned to the city saying: “Come, see a man who told me everything that I did.” She had only recently met Jesus. She did not possess years of theological education. She simply knew she had encountered Someone extraordinary. And her testimony brought others toward Him. Sometimes we make sharing faith unnecessarily complicated. You do not need to answer every theological question before telling someone what Jesus has done in your life. Testimony says: “This is what I experienced.” Then it points beyond itself: “Come and see.” Your story is not the gospel itself. Jesus is. But your story can become a bridge that helps someone consider Him.
