Pause & Reflect
“Don't forget to show hospitality.” Hospitality does not require a perfect house. Expensive tableware. A large kitchen. Or elaborate meals. At its heart, hospitality says: “There is room for you.” A meal. Tea. A spare bed. A listening ear. A seat at the table. A welcome into community. Some people possess beautiful homes but rarely allow anyone into them because everything must remain perfect. Others create extraordinary warmth with very little. Hospitality turns resources into belonging.
Declare It Today
“I will use what I have to create welcome. Hospitality does not require perfection; it requires an open and generous heart.”
Let's Pray
Father, show me how my home, table and time can become places of welcome. Give me generosity without comparison or performance. Amen.
