Pause & Reflect
Jesus said: “He who is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much.” We often imagine faithfulness in dramatic terms. A great assignment. A visible ministry. A significant opportunity. But Jesus points toward the small things. How you handle today's responsibility matters. The email you said you would send. The money entrusted to you. The promise you made. The work nobody applauds. The person depending upon you. Character is often developed before opportunity expands. We sometimes ask God for “more” while neglecting what is already in our hands. Faithfulness asks a different question: “What has God entrusted to me today?” Then it handles that assignment well. Small does not mean insignificant.
Declare It Today
“I will be faithful with what God has entrusted to me today. I will not despise small responsibilities while waiting for larger opportunities.”
Let's Pray
Father, make me trustworthy in both visible and hidden responsibilities. Show me anything I have neglected and give me grace to handle what You have placed in my hands faithfully. Amen.
