Paul could say: “I have fought the good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept the faith.” That is one of Scripture’s finest descriptions of success. Not: Everyone applauded me. I achieved every dream. I became famous. But: I kept the faith. Christian life is not only about beginning enthusiastically. It is about continuing. Through ordinary years. Changing seasons. Disappointment. Success. Weakness. Age. Keep Christ. Keep truth. Keep faith. Finish.
Declare It Today
“By God’s grace, I intend to finish my race still loving, trusting and following Jesus.”
Let's Pray
Father, preserve me across every season. Keep my heart tender and my faith rooted until the race You have given me is complete. Amen.
