Pause & Reflect
“God loves a cheerful giver.” Generosity should not always feel like losing. There is joy in becoming part of God's provision for another person. A meal appears because someone gave. A missionary continues because believers supported the work. A struggling family receives help. A ministry serves people. A child receives an opportunity. A need is quietly met. Giving lets resources move through our hands toward good. Cheerfulness does not mean every sacrifice feels easy. It means generosity increasingly becomes something we delight in rather than resent.
Declare It Today
“I want generosity to become joy rather than reluctant obligation. I will celebrate opportunities to use God's provision for good.”
Let's Pray
Father, cultivate cheerful generosity in me. Let giving become an expression of gratitude rather than resentment or pressure. Amen.
