Pause & Reflect
“As each has received a gift, employ it in serving one another.” Your ability can become generosity. Perhaps you can: Design. Teach. Cook. Repair. Organise. Write. Advise. Mentor. Build. Listen. Lead. Sometimes the most valuable thing you can offer another person is not money but expertise. That does not mean professional skills should always be provided free. Workers deserve appropriate compensation. But there can still be occasions when God invites you to offer what you know as a gift. Your abilities are resources too.
Declare It Today
“I will steward my abilities generously. Where God leads, I will use what I know and can do to strengthen others.”
Let's Pray
Father, show me how my skills can become service. Give me wisdom to balance generosity, work and healthy boundaries. Amen.
