Pause & Reflect
“Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Faith does not mean we earn justification by believing hard enough. Faith receives Christ. The value is not in how impressive your faith feels. The value is in whom you trust. Jesus. That means your standing before God does not rise and fall every day according to how spiritually successful you feel. Your obedience matters. Sin should be confessed. Growth matters. But justification rests upon Christ. You are not asked to re-save yourself every morning.
Declare It Today
“Through faith in Jesus Christ, I am justified before God. My standing rests upon Him rather than the changing quality of my daily performance.”
Let's Pray
Jesus, keep my confidence anchored in Your saving work. Let justification produce gratitude, humility and increasing holiness in me. Amen.
