Pause & Reflect
Paul tells believers to be: “rejoicing in hope; enduring in troubles; continuing steadfastly in prayer.” Patience is not passive resignation. It is faithful endurance without allowing delay to destroy trust. We need patience with circumstances. Patience with people. Patience with ourselves. Patience with processes. Patience with God's timing. Impatience often whispers: “If it isn't happening quickly, something must be wrong.” But much of God's work develops slowly. Trees grow slowly. Character grows slowly. Trust grows slowly. Relationships mature slowly. Some answers unfold slowly. Speed is not always evidence of God's favour. Learn to remain faithful without demanding instant results.
Declare It Today
“The Holy Spirit is producing patience in me. I will remain faithful in seasons of delay and refuse to make speed the measure of God's goodness.”
Let's Pray
Holy Spirit, expose impatience in me. Teach me to wait without becoming passive, to act without forcing outcomes and to trust God's timing. Amen.
