Pause & Reflect
“Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God.” There is an important order: Submit. Resist. Draw near. Spiritual victory is not independence. It is surrender to God. Sometimes resistance looks very practical. Close it. Leave. Block the number. Tell someone trustworthy. Stop entertaining the thought. Choose forgiveness. Speak truth. Pray. And then move toward God. Christianity is not merely a life of saying no to darkness. It is saying a greater yes to God.

“I submit to God, resist what pulls me away from Him and intentionally draw near to His presence and truth.”
Let's Pray
Father, strengthen me to resist temptation quickly. Keep me close to You so that obedience becomes more desirable than compromise. Amen.
