Pause & Reflect
“She laughs at the time to come.” This does not mean she knows everything the future contains. She doesn't. None of us does. Her confidence is connected to the strength, dignity, wisdom and preparation described throughout the passage. She has done what wisdom permits her to do. Then she faces tomorrow without being consumed by fear. This is a beautiful balance. Faith is not irresponsibility. She prepares. Faith is also not anxiety. After preparation, she trusts. You can plan financially. Prepare professionally. Teach your children. Develop skills. Look after responsibilities. And still recognise that ultimately your future rests with God. Preparation does what it can. Faith releases what it cannot control.
Declare It Today
“I will prepare wisely without living anxiously. My future is ultimately in God's hands, and I can face tomorrow with faith rather than fear.”
Let's Pray
Father, give me wisdom to prepare for the future without becoming controlled by it. Where anxiety tries to dominate me, remind me that tomorrow remains under Your authority. Amen.
