Pause & Reflect
Esther reached a moment when influence required courage. Remaining comfortable was no longer neutral. People's lives were at stake. Mordecai challenged her to consider whether she had come to her position “for such a time as this.” Esther did not act carelessly. She understood the danger. She called for fasting. Then she moved. There are moments when stewardship requires courage. Speaking. Advocating. Starting. Stopping. Standing beside someone vulnerable. Challenging what is wrong. Using access for people who do not have it. You may never stand before a king. But God may place you in rooms, organisations, families or communities where your voice matters. Do not waste influence merely preserving comfort.
Declare It Today
“I will not use influence only for myself. When faithfulness requires courage, I will seek God, count the cost and use my position responsibly.”
Let's Pray
Father, give me Esther's courage joined with wisdom. Show me where You have given me influence for the good of others, and keep fear from silencing necessary obedience. Amen.
