Strengthened in Your Inner Being

Day 83

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE

Ephesians 3:14–19

Read Scripture in Context →

Pause & Reflect

Paul prayed that believers would be strengthened with power through God's Spirit in the inner person. We often pray for external circumstances to change. And we should bring those needs to God. But Paul also prayed for something happening inside believers. Inner strength. Roots in love. A deeper grasp of Christ's love. Fullness in God. Sometimes God changes the situation. Sometimes He strengthens the woman walking through it. There is a strength that does not look dramatic. It gets up again. Forgives again. Prays again. Chooses integrity again. Keeps believing when feelings fluctuate. You may feel weak today. That does not disqualify you from being strengthened by God. Weakness can become the very place where dependence deepens.

Declare It Today

“The Holy Spirit strengthens me in my inner being. I do not depend solely upon emotional or physical strength; I look to God for power to remain faithful.”

Let's Pray

Father, strengthen me through Your Spirit in my inner being. Root me deeply in the love of Christ and give me strength for the responsibilities and challenges before me today. Amen.
