Pause & Reflect
Jesus said: “Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives.” The world's version of peace often depends upon circumstances becoming calm. No conflict. No uncertainty. No unexpected bills. No difficult conversations. No troubling news. Jesus offers a different kind of peace. His disciples were about to enter an extremely difficult season, yet He spoke peace to them. Christ's peace can exist before the circumstances resolve. That does not mean anxiety disappears instantly or that Christians never need practical help when struggling. It means our deepest security is not dependent upon controlling everything around us. Jesus remains Lord even when life feels unsettled.
Declare It Today
“Jesus gives me a peace deeper than favourable circumstances. I will bring my fears to Him and anchor my heart in His presence and promises.”
Let's Pray
Jesus, speak Your peace into the places where my heart feels unsettled. Help me take wise action where needed while releasing the things I cannot control into Your hands. Amen.
