Pause & Reflect
After Israel crossed the sea, Miriam took a tambourine and led women in worship: “Sing to Yahweh, for he has triumphed gloriously.” Miriam's voice helped the community remember what God had done. There is power in using your voice to direct attention toward God. Your voice may be musical. Teaching. Writing. Encouragement. Prayer. Testimony. Conversation. Leadership. The form differs. The question is what your voice magnifies. We live in a world where voices can easily become tools for self-promotion. Miriam reminds us that influence can become worship. Tell people what God has done. Give thanks publicly. Encourage remembrance. Let your voice help others recognise His faithfulness.
Declare It Today
“My voice can be used to glorify God. I will speak of His faithfulness and use my influence to direct attention toward Him.”
Let's Pray
Father, sanctify my voice. Whether I speak, write, teach, sing or encourage, let what comes through me point people toward Your goodness. Amen.
