Pause & Reflect
Christ's resurrection is not merely a miracle that happened to Jesus. It is the beginning of the resurrection hope of His people. Paul calls Christ the firstfruits of those who have died. The firstfruits anticipate a harvest. Because He lives, death's hold over God's people is temporary. Your Christian hope therefore reaches beyond: A better week. Better circumstances. Even a long earthly life. It reaches into resurrection. The tomb is not the final destination.
Declare It Today
“Jesus Christ has risen, and because I belong to Him, resurrection—not death—is my ultimate future.”
Let's Pray
Risen Jesus, make resurrection hope increasingly real to me. Let Your victory over death reshape how I face both life and mortality. Amen.
