Pause & Reflect
When Mary arrived, Elizabeth did not compete with her. She blessed her. Both women were experiencing extraordinary pregnancies. Both had stories worth celebrating. Yet Elizabeth was able to recognise what God was doing in Mary and speak life over it: “Blessed is she who believed.” There is something beautiful about a woman secure enough to celebrate God's work in another woman. Comparison says: “What does her blessing mean about me?” Sisterhood says: “Look what God is doing in her life.” Another woman's calling does not cancel yours. Her opportunity does not reduce God's ability to work through you. Her season may simply be different. Learn to bless what God is doing in your sisters.
Declare It Today
“I will celebrate God's work in other women without turning their blessings into measurements of my worth. There is room in God's purposes for both of us.”
Let's Pray
Father, uproot envy and comparison from my heart. Make me generous in encouragement and secure enough in You to celebrate another woman's calling sincerely. Amen.
