Pause & Reflect
“Let us not be weary in doing good.” Generosity can become tiring. Needs do not end. Messages keep arriving. Another cause needs support. Another person needs help. Paul acknowledges weariness rather than pretending faithful people never experience it. But sustainable generosity requires wisdom. You are not the Messiah. You cannot rescue everyone. Jesus already holds that position. Do the good God genuinely gives you to do. Rest. Share responsibility. Say no where necessary. Then continue. Burnout helps nobody. Faithful generosity should be sustainable enough to survive beyond one emotional season.
Declare It Today
“I will continue doing good without assuming I must personally meet every need. I choose generous faithfulness with God-given limits.”
Let's Pray
Father, renew me where serving has become tiring. Show me what belongs to me, what should be shared and what I need to release. Amen.
