“Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase.” Giving is an act of honour. It acknowledges that God is not merely entitled to whatever remains after every other desire has been satisfied. Throughout Scripture, God's people intentionally set resources apart for Him. Christians differ in how they understand specific Old Testament giving requirements under the new covenant. But the New Testament unmistakably calls believers to generous, willing and intentional giving. The heart question remains: Does God genuinely have first place in the way I handle resources?

Let's Pray
Father, let my finances reflect that You genuinely have first place in my life. Give me biblical wisdom, freedom and generosity. Amen.
