Pause & Reflect
Proverbs 31 ends: “Give her of the fruit of her hands! Let her works praise her in the gates!” We began this movement with the woman who fears the Lord. That is exactly where we must finish. The Proverbs 31 woman is not praised because she successfully performed an impossible checklist. Her life has produced fruit. Wisdom became decisions. Compassion became generosity. Strength became diligent action. Faithfulness created trust. Enterprise became stewardship. Words became wisdom. Reverence for God became character. And over time, the fruit spoke. You do not need to spend your life constantly announcing your worth. Build faithfully. Love deeply. Serve wisely. Grow continually. Fear the Lord. Let the fruit speak. And remember that even the best human example points beyond herself. Jesus remains our righteousness. Grace remains our foundation. The Holy Spirit remains the One forming Christlike character. The goal is not to become the perfect woman. It is to become a woman increasingly surrendered to the perfect Saviour.

Father, thank You for every way You are forming me. Make me a woman of wisdom, strength, dignity, compassion, integrity and reverence for You. We can also deliberately include women whose stories contain failure or suffering—not only “heroic” women—because Scripture teaches through their stories too.
