Pause & Reflect
“Seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness.” Jesus speaks these words in a passage about material needs and anxiety. Kingdom-first living does not mean ignoring bills. It means refusing to let material concerns become the organising centre of life. Work. Plan. Provide. But seek God first. Ask not only: “Will this increase my income?” Ask: “Will this help me remain faithful?” Not only: “Can I afford it?” But: “Should this become a priority?” The Kingdom gives our resources direction.
Declare It Today
“I will seek God's Kingdom first. Financial concerns are real, but they will not become greater in my heart than obedience to Christ.”
Let's Pray
Father, reorder my priorities wherever necessary. Teach me to work responsibly while trusting You rather than living under constant financial anxiety. Amen.
