She Was Full of Good Works

Day 242

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE

Acts 9:36–42

Pause & Reflect

Tabitha—also called Dorcas—is introduced simply: She was “full of good works and acts of mercy.” When she died, widows stood nearby showing garments she had made. Her ministry had texture. People could hold evidence of her kindness in their hands. Tabitha reminds us that Kingdom impact is not limited to platforms, pulpits or titles. She used practical ability to bless people. What can your hands do? Cook? Sew? Organise? Design? Write? Teach? Repair? Manage? Listen? Create? Sometimes we overlook practical gifts because they do not appear “spiritual” enough. But love expressed through useful service is deeply spiritual.

Declare It Today

“The abilities God has given me can become instruments of mercy. I will not despise practical service or underestimate quiet acts of love.”

Let's Pray

Father, show me how my ordinary skills can serve people. Make me attentive to real needs and willing to use what I can do as an expression of Christ's love. Amen.
