Pause & Reflect
“She seeks wool and flax, and works eagerly with her hands.” The Proverbs 31 woman is willing to work. Her diligence is not presented as frantic striving. It is purposeful stewardship. There is dignity in good work. Paid work. Unpaid work. Work within the home. Work in business. Work in ministry. Creative work. Caregiving. Learning. Building. The form changes across seasons, but the principle remains: what God places in our hands deserves faithful attention. Diligence does not mean never resting. Nor does productivity determine your worth. Your value was settled before today's task list began. That security frees you to work from grace rather than for identity. Whatever today's assignment is, do it faithfully.
Declare It Today
“I will work diligently with what God has entrusted to me. My productivity does not determine my worth, but my work can become an expression of faithful stewardship.”
Let's Pray
Father, give me diligence without striving. Deliver me from laziness on one side and unhealthy overwork on the other. Help me handle today's responsibilities faithfully. Amen.
