Pause & Reflect
God instructed Israel to speak of His commands: When sitting at home. Walking along the road. Lying down. Getting up. Faith formation was woven into ordinary life. Children need more than occasional religious events. They need opportunities to see what faith looks like on Monday morning. How do we respond when worried? How do we apologise? How do we make decisions? How do we handle money? How do we treat difficult people? How do we pray when disappointed? Formal Bible teaching matters. But children are also learning from the Christianity they observe. This applies beyond biological parenting. Grandparents. Aunts. Mentors. Teachers. Church leaders. Spiritual mothers. All can help another generation know God.
Declare It Today
“I will intentionally pass God's truth to the next generation through both my words and the way I live.”
Let's Pray
Father, help me communicate faith naturally and faithfully. May the younger people within my influence see a Christianity that is genuine, gracious and rooted in Your Word. Amen.
