Pause & Reflect
Proverbs points us toward the ant: It prepares provision ahead of time. Saving is not automatically fear or lack of faith. It can be foresight. Emergencies happen. Income changes. Children grow. Responsibilities develop. Opportunities arise. Wise saving creates margin. But saving can also become another form of false security if accumulated wealth becomes what we trust instead of God. So save wisely without worshipping savings. Preparation and dependence belong together.
Declare It Today
“I will prepare wisely for future needs without placing my ultimate security in accumulated resources.”
Let's Pray
Father, give me discipline to prepare and faith to remember that my deepest security remains in You. Amen.
